September 2026 Product Update: AutomationAI Gets Real, and the Rest of the Suite Keeps Pace

AutomationAI had its biggest month yet. Its PSA Extensions now work inside your live HaloPSA or Autotask instance. Not a sandbox. Your actual PSA.

That's the headline, but it isn't the whole story. Across the CloudRadial suite, we shipped new portal themes, a third payment portal option, sharper ServiceAI triage, and a clearer view of ChatAI activity.

Here's what changed and what it means for your team.

AutomationAI: From Early Access to Real Work

AutomationAI is still in early access with a select group of Partners. The open release is coming soon. Here's what those Partners can do now.

PSA Extensions make real calls. The HaloPSA and Autotask PSA Extensions now connect to your live PSA. They read tickets, clients, and assets. They create tickets, notes, and time entries. Your automations act on real work, in the system your techs already use.

Deploy a runner from the Azure Marketplace. You can now stand up a customer-side runner straight from the Azure Marketplace. Prefer the PowerShell installer? That method is unchanged and still supported.

Your custom agents arrive ready to go. When you bind a custom agent to an Agent step, it now brings its Extensions, inputs, and outputs with it. No more rebuilding an empty agent.

A few more improvements make long build sessions smoother:

• Save stays on the canvas. Save now keeps you in the Designer so you can checkpoint your work. Close is a separate button.
• Runs handle AI rate limits. A run that hits a rate limit now waits and continues, rather than failing partway through.
• Playbook dependencies are protected. You can't delete a workflow that a playbook still runs as a step, and the app tells you which playbooks depend on it.

Unified Client Portal: New Looks and More Ways to Get Paid

CloudRadial Fluent (beta). Fluent is a new Base Theme with matching light and dark modes. You can brand it in both. Turn on user choice, and each of your clients' users can pick Light, Dark, or System.

Flexpoint joins your payment portal options. If you bill through Flexpoint, you can now enable it as your client payment portal, alongside ConnectBooster and Wise-Pay. Clients click through already signed in.

We also fixed a handful of things that make the portal more accurate and easier to use:

• VMs and Cloud PCs sync reliably. Virtual machines and Windows 365 Cloud PCs that didn't appear, or showed as offline, now sync correctly, including into ConnectWise Manage. Heads up: your endpoint count may increase.
• The Support Tickets view keeps improving. We fixed note formatting, HaloPSA Type and Priority, custom titles, deleted Halo tickets, and Kaseya BMS attachments.
• Every ticket in a ConnectWise project displays. Not just the first 25.
• Autotask contact sync is accurate for new clients. Newly onboarded companies get their own contacts and account manager, not the parent company's.
• Grids stay readable on tablets. Grids now scroll horizontally instead of squeezing columns.
• Training reports export every row. You get all users, not just the first page. ClipTraining links now open directly to the right course.

ServiceAI: Sharper Triage, End to End

This month's ServiceAI work focused on making triage more dependable.

• No more duplicate triage. Triage no longer runs multiple times on the same ticket, so you won't see conflicting notes and updates.
• No assignments to inactive agents. Automatic assignment now checks each agent's active status in your PSA and skips anyone marked inactive.
• One rejected field doesn't sink the update. If your PSA rejects a classification value, the other fields still apply.
• One focused article per topic. Article recommendations from a batch of tickets now produce a separate article for each topic.
• More reliable IT Glue articles. Deleted and archived documents no longer linger as dead entries, and IT Glue articles now surface as sources in search.
• Cleaner triage limits. Empty "ticket not found" rows no longer count against your monthly triage limit.
• Settings stick. Settings toggles, time zone, account switching, and SSO redirects all hold as expected.

ChatAI: See Who's Covering Chat

Per-technician chat activity. The Dashboard now shows which technicians are answering chats, so you can spot coverage gaps at a glance.

A refreshed Admin Portal. New colors, typography, and spacing, a reorganized sidebar, and dark mode for the portal frame.

Plus a few reliability fixes:

• Chat transfer notifications now reach the intended recipient.
• ConnectWise Manage ticket webhooks now match to the right PSA connector, so updates aren't missed.
• Slack conversations start new threads reliably, including from certain messages that previously failed.
